Why did you become a Kids Yoga teacher?
I became a yoga teacher after having my twin daughters, when I naturally started introducing yoga into our daily lives. I saw firsthand how it helped them grow in confidence, express their creativity, and feel happy and connected in their bodies. Witnessing that transformation inspired me to deepen my practice and earn my Rainbow Yoga certification, so I could share this same joy, confidence, and sense of freedom with other children
What do you enjoy most about it?
What I enjoy most is seeing children truly thrive during each session. I love watching their curiosity spark and grow as they explore movement, stories, and their own imagination. It’s so rewarding to witness the real benefits of yoga, how it helps them build confidence, express themselves more freely, connect with others, and find moments of calm and joy. Seeing those little transformations, even in a short session, is what makes it so special to me.
What’s your favourite yoga pose?
My favourite yoga pose is a flowing group movement, like the sunflower pose, where all the children come together to create something beautiful. I especially love when we form a big mandala as a group. it’s such a magical moment where everyone is connected, moving in harmony, and part of one creative expression.
Aside from yoga, what else do you love?
Aside from yoga, I love spending quality time with my children through simple, joyful moments. I enjoy cooking, going camping together, walking barefoot in the grass, and exploring nature, finding little treasures along the way!
According to you, what makes a really great Kids Yoga class?
For me, a really good yoga class is full of smiles, giggles, and those little “I can do it!” moments that light up a child’s face. I love seeing children fully engaged, helping each other, cheering one another on, and growing more confident as they explore each pose together. And then comes the magic of relaxation… when everything softens, and they become aware of their breath, learning to pause, feel calm, and gently regulate themselves. That balance of fun, connection, and calm is what makes a class truly special.
